I trained at Guys Hospital School of Physiotherapy and then specialised in neurosciences at The Royal London Hospital, the South East Regional Neuroscience Centre.
Following this I became the first Clinical Specialist in Adult Learning Disabilities (ALD) specialising in people with profound and complex needs and worked with a number of Universities as an Honorary Lecturer, whilst also writing the first accredited course for nurses and therapists in ALD.
I moved into rehabilitation and management following this and then Long Term Conditions, leading a programme for Respiratory, Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Frailty and End of Life Care.
My most recent role in the NHS was as the Therapy Lead for physical therapies in the management of acute mental health patients.
I left the NHS in 2025 to pursue a career as an independent physiotherapist and artist.

I am a mum of two teenage boys and live in Ham, Richmond, TW10 with all my other animals, including my gorgeous Therapy Dog, Lexie.
