Older adults with balance issues due to long term conditions such as Stroke, Parkinsons, respiratory disease, frailty or the need for recuperation after a prolonged hospital stay has left them off balance and at risk of falling.
This may involve activities within the house and garden, practising taking steps/stairs, dancing or other fun ideas that keep you moving and engaged/inspired.
Gardening and being out in nature or walking down the High Street can help significantly with improving mood and motivation.

Falls prevention physiotherapy assesses your environment, nutrition, visual ability, footwear, activity levels, and general safety in remaining active in your home, checking the risks and what can be done to reduce them.
Balance physiotherapy to improve co-ordination, strength and awareness, bringing in walking aids as necessary.
